The Trip to Oz

My trip to Australia was set up for business to assist with a number of different areas including developing new business, conducting training, technical support, and delivering workflow development services for a couple of clients of ours.

The trip started out as a 2-week effort, developed into a 3-week effort, and left the door open to extend for a 4th week, however, I think 3 weeks away from the family will be a bit hard to take. A previous trip to Japan in February 2006 was about 2.5 weeks and that was about the right amount of time.

I'm expected to be in Melbourne and Syndey. There was a possbility of going to Perth on the far west coast, but not sure if that trip will actually happen. It's a huge country, so a trip to the West Coast will be a big one, like flying from RDU to LAX (again!!).

Due to the nature of the business on this trip, there's only so much prep and pre-work that can be done so I'm preparing as much as possible, but know it can change quickly.

My main contact in Oz is a great guy so I know I'll be well taken care of.
